Owed money by Tesco store

Hi, I purchased  a £50 apple voucher in Tesco store in Oct for a birthday present but when the recipient tried to activate it someone had already activated it before I even purchased the voucher. I complained to Tesco via their complaints number and eventually the customer manager sent me a refund form to claim the £50 back into my bank account. I filled the refund form in on 10th Nov and as I still have not had a refund from the store I phoned them again today and I been told, by a very rude member of the team that I just have to wait longer for the refund. I am only a pension and £50 is a lot of money to me but he was not interested, just told me to be patient and wait. On the form it states a refund will be paid within 10 days and it's now 14 days. I've tried contacting head office but all emails returned unanswered.  Any suggestion gratefully welcome. With Christmas only a few weeks away £50 is a lot of money to be owed by a large store.

Now 14 actual days, or 14 business days?  I suspect their 10 days means business days, which might just about mean next Monday?
