I've looked for the elusive 'latest Defence template' and cannot find it.

Could you possibly post a link or explain where it is?

I've read your comment and understand the language but just cannot see anything that relates to what you describe.

I have found the 'latest' Defence template which contains those words.

It appears to be dated November 2023.

If there is a later version could you please point to it?

I cannot find a 'sticky announcement' anywhere - how is it identified?

I'm very sorry but I've looked again - several times - and cannot find a version that DOES NOT contain those words.

I appreciate the assistance given by yourself and fellow contributors but saying 'look again' really does not help me.

The latest version that I can see is "edited 15 November 2023 @ 1:45pm"

IF there is a later version can somebody PLEASE point to it.

I'm with @davemcc on this.

In the second post of the Template Defence thread, paragraph 1 states...

1.  The Defendant denies that the Claimant is entitled to relief in the sum claimed, or at all.  It is denied that any conduct by the driver was in breach of any term.  Further, it is denied that this Claimant (understood to have a bare licence as agents) has standing to sue or form contracts in their own name. Liability is denied, whether or not the Claimant is claiming 'keeper liability', which is unclear from the boilerplate text in the Particulars of Claim ('the POC').

If we are both missing something, please tell us what it is we are missing.

The word 'managers' was changed to 'agents' in the Template Defence first paragraph this Summer.  Therefore I know this OP has not used the Template Defence.

Thank you both for that piece of the jigsaw.
Meanwhile, I am still unable to find the updated text of the Template Defence.
My Defence has to be submitted today so if there is no further word from you, this is the one that will be offered.
