  • I use a program called Grammarly. It dots the I's and crosses the T's and prompts you to incorporate the correct punctuation. After all that, it even underlines wrongly spelt words. It can also be an add-on to other word-processing platforms such as Microsoft Word.

The "Paid For" Premium version will even offer an alternative narrative to what you have written.

I have also just discovered that it works on this forum's pages as well.

Did it capitalise the I and T in I's and T's or did you do that?

Did it add the apostrophes to I's and T's or fail to remove them?  If we are being pernickety about punctuation they should be Is and Ts, shouldn't they?

No, the apostrophes should be there but the i and t should be lower case. Dotting the i's and t's.

I don't see why apostrophes are required - there is no possession or omission.  It seems analagous to grocers' apostrophes such as carrot's and cucumber's.

Totally agree that i and t should be lower case.
