help needed New years eve food and games

Hi We are thinking about having a NYE dinner party for up to 6-8 friends, we have never had one before and ideally would be looking for a 3-4 course menu which will cook itself on the night (with prep in the day or days before) and that will look and taste good. As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the existing NYE party thread.

How about rolls, stuffing, apple sauce and salad - that would be my ideal way to be served roast pork.
