NatWest 0% balance transfer 0% chance of approval

in Credit cards
Hi,
I was going to shift a balance but thought I would try the eligibility on here first.
I wanted the Natwest card above 0% for 14 months
then 24.9%.
Oddly it says 0% chance of approval. Then below this card literally 10 other good 0% cards that are 100% pre approved.
I have a great credit score, never defaulted, earn well. Could this be a blip or for some other reason?
Thanks

Could be anything (well, anything except your credit score, which is never used by anyone).
Could be something nasty in your credit history, could be the usual inaccuracies in the eligibility checker or could be you simply don't meet their criteria.0 -
natwest are very unpredictable - talking from experience of banking with them0

TBH. You are better trying direct on their own sites.Life in the slow lane0

MSE told me I wasn’t eligible for NatWest and RBS cards but their own sites stated I was. Approved for both with a £7400 credit limit on each. This was a couple of months ago.
in my experience it’s always best to go with lender’s checkers direct than the generic ones.Best Regards,

Not every lender will fancy you, if in doubt, check NatWest's very own eligibility calculator and if it comes back with an excellent chance or you're pre-approved then give it a punt.Save £5k in 2025 challenge #32

It's also worth checking other sites for offers, MSE generally links offers for cards that give affiliate fees (and one or two others sometimes where they don't) same as the CRAs. For example, the MSE site doesn't mention Tesco, Co-Op or the main Sainsbury's cards

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
