Morning everyone it’s lovely and bright here but blowing a hoolie it’s never stopped all night it helped me get up the steep bank I had to walk on my Thursday cleaning job but what a struggle coming back down but you can’t have it all ways . The little gammon joint I did yesterday is plenty enough for tonight so that’s nice and easy . Taff that cake sounds lovely I have got a sweet tooth. Not a lot else happening here today just work and a bit of housework. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing9

I was 17 when Dr Who first aired so not so easily frightened but OMG Quatermass which the Beeb serialised a couple of years before that did have me hiding behind the cushions! X"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"8

Morning all, I didn't have a great night, couldn't get comfortable and the old brain was whirring, so tossed and turned a lot. Roll on bedtime tonight now.
Yesterday I did a load in the wm and it's dried overnight. This morning I've pottered around while we wait for a JL parcel delivery, they are running late and as usual we must be last on the list ! Oh it's just arrived !
We are picking up DGD from school and she's coming back for tea this afternoon, then DD will collect her later.
Hope everyone can have a good day. Hugs to all.

I wasn't quite sure which thread to post this on but I think it was on here I read someone was looking for the Terry's chocolate oranges. Terry's chocolate oranges they are £1 in Sainsburys with nectar card and £1 in Morrisons with more card. Morrisons are the cheapest I've seen for cadburys advent calendars at £1.35 each.7

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the radio silence. Have spent my last two days in the office and yesterday was also anniversary of nephew's death, so a very emotional week. I leave my current role tomorrow and start the new one on Monday but have a funeral Monday afternoon - it's all go.
Glad to hear the family are safely home @snoozer x
Well done on the inspection @camelot1001 x
Hope little DGD enjoys the party with her friends @dp1 x
Shame about the trip @-taff - enjoy the pudding later, sounds amazing mmmmmm
Hope that @Gers and @WickedLady4 are enjoying their new appliances - strange what sparks joy when we get older. Mine is bars of milled soap weirdly!
Hugs to you @RedRuby1231 re: your nephew - we never stop thinking about our lost boys xx
Good idea re: the jab @bellabella x
Tick tock @IzzyBee sub 100 days now whooop!
Sorry if I've forgotten anyone's news - have just speed read 3 days worth of the thread!
Dinner tonight is massaman curry with rice. I have nail appointment straight after work - thinking of going for a battleship grey this time. The red has held pretty well considering it's been 4 weeks.
Have a good evening everyone,

My boss got the dreaded phone call at lunch time - Ofsted are coming to nursery tomorrow.....lovely!
At least they weren't there to watch me making cheese scones this afternoon - we seemed to have flour everywhere!
I used to sit behind my dad's armchair when Dr Who was on - when I told one of my DD's she asked 'why didn't you just go in a different room?' Well, because the living room was the only room that was warm and in 'those days' everyone sat in the same room at night time, whether you liked what was on TV or not. x

Gers said:The howiing wind hasn't stopped or dropped here. I had to close my bedroom window as the noise was so loud. It's only open a crack but that was enough to created a loud whistling. This morning is my pool session then I need to do a little shopping. Then tonight is Dr Who night 🎉. I've been mildly in thrall to this programme since the first episode 60 years ago. 😀 It's slightly embarrassing but the daleks still get my heart racing in fear. Perhaps not actual fear but a frisson of thrill.Marie has popped into my head, I hope that you're doing OK.5
