Wondering if anyone has experience of applying to be a Deputy with COP? We filed an application in March of this year and still waiting to hear. Impossible to contact via email or phone. I am spending, currently, an hour (plus) a day trying to get through on the phone. No joy. I understand it has to be a thorough process, but inability to communicate with anyone is frustrating.

There have been very long backlogs with deputy applications in the court of protection. These sorts of timescales are not unusual unfortunately.
