Cancelled Contents Insurance---Too Many Claims from Housemate

I have a shared contents insurance policy with myself and my housemate.
In the first 6 months of a £250 policy, they have made two claims that were accepted totalling £380 (minus 2x£100 excess) and one recent claim that made no sense and was for their partner's washing machine (different house, not owned by them)... This was for £150 if settled (minus excess).
I understand that that's dodgy and I said to myself at the time, that I wouldn't be surprised if they cancel the policy. They did.
I have made no claims on the policy, so am obviously frustrated. The policy is held in both our names. The wording of the policy is "This policy covers you, (my name) and (housemate's name) permanently living at (address)".
What should I do from here? I have written to the insurer asking if this will be placed on record, whether it's held against my name or my housemate's, and that none of the claims were made in my name.
Any advice appreciated.

Who actually took the insurance out?
I think it’s very likely that if it is a joint policy in both your names then the claims and cancellation will affect you as well as him. That is one of the downside to taking out a joint policy as opposed to individual ones. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

I took the policy out, but I don't see that I'm the "main policy holder" anywhere in the contract. It also doesn't define whether we are severally, or joint in terms of liability.

By the sounds of it you were joint policyholders so equally responsible but a reading of the policy wording and in particular the defined terms and policy schedule should clarify if you were joint policyholders or if you were the policyholder and he was just a co-insured. If its the latter then as the policyholder you've made the claims0
