Scottish Power charges when fixed rate ends - beware final bill calculation.

Hi - new to forum but feel this needs airing. Switched to new supplier from Scottish Power 2 year fixed rate deal in September 2023. Scottish Power emailed mid August stating my final bill would be calculated on my old fixed rate tariff as long as I met certain criteria. I met the criteria in the supplier switch, but got an incorrect final bill demand based on Scottish Power variable rates. I pre-empted this happening. Been trying to resolve for 3 months - no success - now starting complaint procedure.
If you are on a Scottish Power fixed rate deal that is ending / has recently ended, check their "fix rate ending" email, any offer therein and the final fixed rate bill calculation. They may be overcharging.
