Definitely forgive past selves about the boiler registration. I suspect at the time you had a lot going on in your life (your children were younger, maybe your relationship was rocky at the time) and you were trying to function without the support of your new meds. Also, I quite often don’t register new appliances (I haven’t done our new WM for 10 years of spare parts - so still have to pay call out and labour - doesn’t seem worth it to me) because of the tsunami of marketing bombardment that results! Perhaps the boiler would have been a more obvious one to do, but I can understand how it would have got missed.
What I’m not understanding is why you need it? If the new boiler man can confirm it has been installed correctly and it is working correctly / safely, what else do you need?If it’s a guarantee due to the age of the unit, do you have any previous credit card payment records for it?

All sounding good @savingholmes! Helping a friend unpack boxes five years after she'd moved from a different part of the country, the final box had just 1 piece of paper in it: a flyer for a car boot sale that happened weeks after she'd moved hundreds of miles south. This had been in storage; heaven knows how much she'd paid for it over the years. You, on the other hand, are impressively organised. Love Humdinger xx5

Thanks LWAP - the speed of life one - although I started listening to her other book yesterday where she talks about daily pick ups. That's where I currently fall down - and I rely on my weekly cleaner to close the gap. She also talks about a set routine for laundry day and for changing the bedding. Both of those would help me.
Thanks Lucielle and Jwil - Ended up taking 4 bags of newly decluttered stuff to the textile bank. Plus filled another bag to put in the cart to take when I go. I'll also feel like I've decluttered when I distribute various Christmas presents. They are taking up quite a bit of space currently.

I've rung the EA for the seller and got the right email address and sent her my DIP, solicitors details etc. I've emailed my solicitor. I'm unsure if I need to wait for the Memo of U to contact my mortgage co to change the property details to the new one and sort out a survey. I've also asked for my buyer's phone number and told them what furniture I'd be interested in.
I realised this morning - because the other house was an upside down house - and the main bedroom window faced a brick wall - it had less light - and obviously a not great view. I could picture myself in every other room in the house - but the main bedroom I struggled with. I don't know whether it is because it feels more real now my buyers have their mortgage offer or if it is because the new main bedroom has stunning views that go on for miles - and the bed orientation is the same as my room now - but I have no trouble imagining myself in all the rooms of the new house.
I went to bed late as I started an art project. Regret that now!! Already late starting work and not remotely ready. They owe me time at the moment so all good hopefully although I stood someone up for a meeting Friday so need to apologise to them.
Now I'm back on the new meds from the summer - my weight is settling back down even though I feel I've been eating more - it is more of the right stuff. My BP has also improved despite all the current turmoil. My new app keeps reminding me I haven't take my dose yet - so will do that now - and then hopefully get a shift on. Later I need to do my monitoring form.

Boiler certificate still not resolved.
New meds worked a bit too well - as I was so focused I was really stiff when I finally finished work.
I accidentally made the perfect chicken soup - when I forgot all about it probably for around an hour and left it to simmer until just before it boiled dry. I'd used a prepared veg bag and chucked in some leftover chicken, frozen peas, water, stock, tomato sauce, Worcester sauce spices (nutmeg, allspice, rosemary) garlic etc. I'd put it on a timer on the hob but it failed to switch itself off. It does sometimes not others. I just added more water and it was perfect so had some for an early tea around 4pm. Just had some yoghurt and rice pudding.
The solicitors have been in touch - no extra fees to pay despite switch which is excellent. The seller's EA has already begun liaising with my solicitors and mentioned the price which seems really positive. The seller's EA seems a bit weird in that they are asking my EA to certify my ID where the other EAs all had an App they used. That is delaying the Memo. I wonder whether it has anything to do with the hacking issue.
I spoke to my mortgage company - great news - I'd passed the vetting so don't need to pay the port fee again - so all I 'lost' on the previous transaction was the survey fee of £359. Really happy with that. Debating whether to just push the button and order the survey and the searches tomorrow to hit end of Jan desired deadline. I may in the hope I get this move over with asap.
I asked the seller's EA about the furniture - he wants me to pay him for most of what I asked about. I need to weigh up whether I still want them at those prices. I think the bedside tables and chests of drawers would be worth it as £140 would get me 2 x 3 drawer bedside tables and 9 drawers spread across 3 chests of drawers. I could always sell them on and it would 'put me on' while I consider if there are others I'd prefer. I'm considering his brand new JL striped rug for £75 - it is wool though and comes with loads of care instructions looking online so I need to weigh up how friendly that would be to someone like me who spills things a lot. The colours are gorgeous. Potentially a desk and kitchen table for free. He gave me a price for some JL lamps but they are 5 years old looking online so I doubt that's worth it. They were unusual though. I only asked because my buyers want a pair of mine. There were some kitchen chairs but he wants £100 for 4 - and I'd want 6 so I think that's a no.
I got a marketing leaflet from the Swedish shop today and I'm so tempted to go for a gander but I'm trying to tell myself it would be daft to go now. Still fighting temptation though.

As a lurker, my observation would be that you seem far more engaged with this property than the previous one. It all seems very positive for you!4

That's all really positive and very exciting. I wouldn't go shopping now, you've only got to move it, and it would be better to decide what you want once you are in and have your stuff around you."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Whoop! 😊👏🎉 That’s really good news. Yes, press the button - all parties seem fairly committed this time and it would be good to confirm to the others that you have taken this action.Re the wool rug - yeh, whatever to the care instructions! They gave all of these things defined, but I find they never need that much fussing over 😉
If the meds amount is right for you in other ways, maybe set a timer to remind you to move every 30 minutes, even if only to stand up and wiggle a bit? 😊
