Disclose home insurance claim?

Hello wonderful people
I made a claim on my home building insurance for storm damage . I got the repair paid for outside of the claim.. I contacted my insurance and asked them to close the claim. Nothing was paid out (we did have a surveyor from the insurance company come out but the claim was closed before his visit )
Do I need to say I have made a claim on my renewal? Saying yes with £0 amount claimed is showing a £60 difference in my renewal
Thanks for reading !

yes. A nil loss claim is still a claim.

It's still a claim and its unlikely that the surveyor works just for the love they feel from claimants... though if he is an employee of the insurer then it may be an unallocated claims cost.0

Unallocated claims costs don't get recovered from third parties or reinsurers which is why outsourcing can be helpful as rather than employing your own staff as an unallocated cost you pay a third party £60 a claim to handle it and now you have an allocated cost for recovery.1
