Apparently you should try the comparison sites with a different email address (so a whole new account in effect) and also enter your driving license number where asked....
Will try that next time!0 -
No point using a new email account if you are going to give your driving license numberGadgetGuru said:Apparently you should try the comparison sites with a different email address (so a whole new account in effect) and also enter your driving license number where asked....

Thats what I thought but thats what's been recommended.
I guess you could use a new email with no license number to see what quote you get, then doe another with the number? Apparently adding your number reduces the cost.....?0 -
There are a lot of things "recommended" that are nothing but snake oil... some will be from people thinking they are helping, some will be from people just creating clickbait content.GadgetGuru said:DullGreyGuy said:

I have been through Confused dot com for the last 3 years and have chosen a different provider each time. They were all cheaper than the other comparison site quotes. I pay around £135 annually for fully comp SDP&C as a 50 year old using a Peugeot 108 1.0L doing 3000 miles a year living in Rotherham. I also get a £20 Halfords voucher.0
