Morning everyone
Dry and bright here today - yesterday was wet and miserable.
Hugs to you Ruby x
I've made a list of Christmas presents I still have to buy - I might go into town tomorrow. Our new Yorkshire Trading shop opened yesterday - apparently it was packed.
Gers - I remember my mams twin tub - when I was 'old enough' I was taught how to use it so I could help with the washing - needless to say neither of my two brothers had this job to do!
I'm lucky in that I live in a quite small new built house and it heats up quickly. It should be cheaper to heat this year as I got a new thermostat put in during the summer which heats upstairs separately - I only really put the heating on upstairs when little one is staying.
The house we lived in when my girls were little was freezing unless you were in the living room with the coal fire - going to the loo upstairs was like going to the North Pole!
Izzy will you carry on with your cleaning jobs when you retire?
Better do some jobs. I made a big pan of soup today so will take some of that for my lunch today .
Hope you all have a good day today x7 -

Morning...dry so far! Well, I won't be going anywhere next week, the trip has been cancelled due to not enough people and apparently emails were sent out last week. Good job I emailedhim last night to check departure time otherwise I'd have packed and everything. And good job I didn't get round to ordering euros. I did clear the space to the left of the goth box though and empty the greenhouse of the remains of the tomatoes, and pulled up most of the borage for the large bed. Today my foot is hurting which is a good thing really because I'm off to the hospital to see about it today. A friend is coming round this morning so I've made her a cake, one of those carpathian moutain things with the custard. Made one for us too. Is it a bloke thing to love custard? . Also got to use the kmix I got from the hopsice shop online, it is marvellous, doesn't rock or shake at all. Also made a banana bread to use up the two very very black bananas.Gers, I was super excited when we got the dishwasher and I still have a frisson every time I put it on because that's more dishes I am not having to do by hand. camelot, well done on a good sleep! Ruby, hope you can find some good memories. WL, when can anyone who knits or crochets not do with some more wool?
Ros, have a nice meet up. Nanny, I think you can do that on the banking app [but not sure, maybe ask? Floss, I'll put you on the list
Look after yourselves and be excellent etc...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi8 -

Good evening
Not had a lot to say apart from work and jobs at home. Was invited to a quiz in the village on Saturday enjoyed it but had 3 glasses of wine which considering I don’t drink very often was definitely 1 too many. Had a very lazy day on Sunday. Then I was invited to a retirement do on Monday after work was only staying for a couple actually got home after midnight although I did stop after 2 drinks.
Ds2 had his appointment cancelled for the consultant today last minute. He’s complaining of more pain in his leg so will hopefully get another appointment next week.Redruby thinking of you. Be gentle on yourself.
DP1 glad your dd has been offered a house.
TA enjoy your outing
snoozer - enjoy having your family home
Apologies my mind has gone blank. Hugs to anyone that wants/needs one. Take Care8
