Had to happen at some point. Switched in the wrong account which had no direct debits into a new Barclays account hence not meeting the criteria for the £175 incentive.
Does anyone know if it is possible to switch in a second account?? ie the one I should have switched in the first place that does have two active DDs.

Well you're not going to get the £175 if you don't try it are you ?2

Technically does fulfil all the terms and conditions, can't see how they would get out of paying you the switch bribe1

My impression is that the account you are switching into can be of any age and have any amount of activity. It doesn't have to be a new account or one with any activity. You are choosing to switch in another account that also happens to have some activity. So like others have said, give it a go.1

Way I see it, there's nothing in the terms to say you can't switch multiple times, just that they'll only pay out once. As long as one switch meets the terms they should pay.Just make sure to do everything for the second switch through the app as well1

Thanks all. I have switched in a second account this morning with two active DDs and will update.3

Fingers crossed - other account has now switched in and DDs appear on Barclays - will update with hopefully news of incentive payment.1
