Marking collection items dispatched (ebay)

Sold a low value heavy item,
Buyer paid paypal, i semt my address, he came and took it away but I don't seem to have any option to make it as dispatched without entering the code (which I didn't ask the buyer for)
Ebay is nagging me as "dispatch is overdue" and clicking on the item doesn't give me any other option apart from entering the collection code.

When he collected he should have left a collection code, which you put into eBay to prove the buyer collected.2

Hopefully your buyer was honest as the other thing that could occur, for future reference, is that they can claim their payment back.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. can't you just message the seller and ask for the collection code?1

It was a 99p item and I was so happy that the buyer actually arrived to take it away I didn't think to ask for the code.
Seemed like a nice enough chap and don't think for one minute he would try to get the 99p refunded via PayPal but I am happy enough to get it out of the way. I would have given it away but 99p was the lowest ebay would let me start an auction.
Can't message the buyer as they are no longer a registered user. Bit suspicious but they had a auto-gen user name and very little, if any, feedback. I wonder if they opened the account just to bid on this item ?
Anyway, I have found that I can mark as "collected" if I log into ebay from a windows pc. No option to do it on the mobile/tablet app though!2 -
Ah for 99p I wouldn't worry about it too much!
Good to see you found the option to mark as collected though0
