Fifa 24 - Nintendo Switch - Internet download required

Hello All,

I just bought a brand new sealed Fifa 24 for the Nintendo Switch, but on opening the packaging it came in, it say's 'Internet download required'

Does anyone know what this means? I paid £45 so expected the full game? or should I return it and get it from Argos to be sure?

Was it not clear that it was a download ?

From Ebay, Looking at the description, nothing about download.

so have I not bought the actual game?

The cartridge is only 8GB and contains the game engine and one game mode and limited content, you need to download around 22GB which then gives you the full game. There is no option to have the whole game on the cartridge, all physical Switch versions are the same.

It will also be downloading the latest patches for the game as well.
