Credit Karma

I know credit scores are arbitrary and overall I've got great credit history, but the one thing that always "flags" up on my Credit Karma account is that having credit of £15,000 or more will increase my score. Currently it's at £14,500 over 2 credit cards, is it really worth asking for an increase of £500 on one of them?!

If they told you to jump off a cliff....
If you know the score is irrelevant, you can safely ignore any advice that will apparently increase it.2 -

Aside from that, ignore any "advice" they give you about how to increase your score/credit-worthiness/whatever you want to call it. A lender will assess that for themselves, using their own internal systems and the data supplied by the CRAs. That's all they see - the raw data.
