What’s app on ipad

It’s working on my iPad.   I can’t remember what I did to set it up as I’ve had it on the iPad for sometime .  When I need to up use I go to my mobile, go to the … (3 dots) in right hand corner and select linked devices. Then sometimes I have to read a QR code using the camera and my WhatsApp  messages appear on IPad.

That's Whatsapp Web, it's running in a browser and is an extension of the native (app) version running on your phone.

Have you tried a different browser, I had problems sometimes with safari but less so with Firefox. 

It's an app so you don't use a browser.

It’s only an app if you have SIM card on your iPad , otherwise it’s browser only at the moment.

OK thanks. I think it's coming as an app for any iPad though isn't it?

Yes it is an app on the iPad but it won't work unless you connect that app to a phone whatsapp app. 

Like I said before

Open the app on your phone, go to settings, choose whatsapp web and follow instructions
