Have you checked your HMRC personal tax account online? That may shed some light or give an explanation as to how the tax was calculated.

I wasn’t in a job in April but I would have thought by now, I’d be paying the correct tax as from what I understand it’s cumulative and April’s allowance isn’t spread equally for the remainder of the tax year but proportionally.p00hsticks said:

I can think of two possible scenarios that might explain you paying less tax than you think up to now...
a) You moved jobs and both your current and previous employers gave you Mays monthly tax allowance - this will have resulted in you underpaying tax.
b) You weren''t in a job previously and so Aprils monthly tax allowance was effectively available to be spread over subsequent months by your current employer until you end up paying the correct amount of tax0 -

Have you tried MSE's take home pay calculator? I've used others including the one you're using in the past but found the MSE one more user friendly https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/tax-calculator/0

if it is all salary sacrafice then it is already deducted from your salary and your employer makes the payments , not you.
You do not have any pension payments to enter.0 -

The likelihood is that your employer is using payroll software that is very similar to the salary calculator, so it's your input that awry. It's Monday, I take it you can contact your payroll dept., have you done so?I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0
