Is it likely to be approved if you apply for a credit card whilst unemployed?
Or will I get a better card if I wait till I get another job?
My credit rating is very good but I dont wish to ruin my chances. I havent had one for 10years or so

It’s going to be based on affordability, as well as your credit history. If you are unemployed and on benefits there is likely to be a query about your ability to pay.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
