I’M A CELEBRITY… GET ME OUT OF HERE! 2023 PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

 

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the Prize Draw period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

 

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw. 

 

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

• Prize Draw in relation to the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2023 programme (the “Programme”) opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, post, the Programme App (the “App”) and online via the  or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 17 November 2023. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS, SMS, the App and online at 10.00am on Monday 18 December 2023.  
• Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Thursday 21 December 2023. 

 

Winner selection & contact: 

 

• The draw will take place within one (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries.
• Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.

Prize: 

 

There is one (1) prize of £85,000 and a holiday to Australia. 

 

(i) £85,000 cash 

 

This element of the prize includes £85,000 (eighty-five thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only. 

 

(ii) A holiday to Australia 

 

This element of the prize includes a thirteen-night Travelbag holiday for the winner and up to three (3) companion(s) (four (4) adults or two (2) adults and two (2) children) to Australia (“Holiday”). The Holiday includes:

• Four (4) return economy class flights from a UK airport to Sydney airport; 
• All transfers between the airports and the hotels in Australia; 
• All internal Australia economy class flights; 
• Four (4) nights at the 5-star Four Seasons hotel in Sydney, based on four (4) people sharing one (1) or two (2) rooms depending on the age of the winner’s companion(s), on a room only basis; 
• Four (4) tickets to Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb during the day. The winner and their companion(s) may be requested to fill in forms and/or undergo a breath test on location. The winner and their companion(s) will be bound by BridgeClimb Sydney’s terms and conditions, which can be found at https://www.bridgeclimb.com/terms-conditions. • A Sydney Opera House Tour & Lunch for four (4) people; 
• Three (3) nights at the 4-star Desert Gardens Hotel in Uluru, based on four (4) people sharing one (1) or two (2) rooms depending of the age of the winner’s companion(s), on a room only basis; 
• Four (4) tickets to Wintjiri Wiru After Dark. The tour lasts approx. 1.5hours and will depart 2 hours after sunset. The winner and their companion(s) will be bound by the terms and conditions of the supplier;
• Four (4) tickets to the Field of Light Star Passes. The experience includes entrance to Field of Light exhibition, a self-guided walk-through Field of Light after dark and return coach transfer from the hotel. The tour departs 30 minutes after sunset and will last approx. 2.5hours. The winner and their companion(s) will be bound by the terms and conditions of the supplier;   
• A Uluru Sunset Viewing Experience for the winner and their companion(s) including a Uluru Sunset Viewing Experience of 1 hour 30mins, complimentary drinks and nibbles and return hotel transfers. The Uluru Sunset Viewing Experience will start an hour prior sunset. A low level of fitness is required and it is recommended for the winner and their companion(s) to bring their own water bottle and warm clothes (as applicable). At the winner’s choice and own expense, the winner can upgrade the Uluru Sunset Viewing Experience with BBQ dinner (any special dietary request must be communicated to the prize provider of the Holiday at the time of booking). There are no age restrictions however companion(s) aged under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that the Uluru Sunset Viewing Experience is subject to availability and the operating schedule. The winner and their companion(s) will be bound by the terms and conditions of the supplier; 
• Five (5) nights at the 4-star Reef View hotel in Hamilton Island, based on four (4) people sharing one (1) or two (2) rooms depending on the age of the winner’s companion(s) on a room only basis; and
• One (1) night (two (2) days) Reef Sleep experience, which includes a cruise through the Whitsundays to arrive to the accommodation, overnight accommodation in Reefbeds, all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), beverages (excluding cocktails and spirits, activities at the reef including snorkelling with all gear provided, semi-Sub guided tour, access to the underwater observatory and optional activities (at the winner’s own expense): scuba diving and private guided snorkelling tour. The winner must communicate any dietary requirements to the prize provider of the Holiday when booking the Holiday. 

 

Please note that the winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotels for security deposit purposes. The Holiday must be booked and taken up by no later than 31 January 2026 and cannot be taken during the following blackout dates: 

• 1 December to 31 December; 
• 1 January to 4 January; 
• 29 March to 1 April 2024; and
• 18 April to 21 April 2025. 

 

The Holiday will also be subject to following additional dates restrictions from the hotels and experience providers:

• Four Seasons hotel’s blackout dates:
  • 24 May to 16 June 2024; and
  • 23 May 2025 to 15 June 2025; 
• Reef View Hamilton Island hotel’s blackout dates: 
  • 1 January to 22 January 2024; 
  • 29 March to 14 April 2024; 
  • 22 June to 7 July 2024;
  • 14 September to 29 September 2024; 
  • 1 January to 27 January 2025; and
  • 20 September to 6 October 2025;
• The Wintjiri Wiru After Dark experience is not available in January and December. 

 

The prize provider of the Holiday’s Customer Experience Team will liaise with the winner to book the flights, accommodation and other elements of the prize. 

Where the winner’s companion is aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the Holiday. Please note that there are age restrictions for the various experiences included in the Holiday: children under 8 years old cannot participate to Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb, The Wintjiri Wiru After Dark tour and Field of Light Star experience are not suitable for children of four (4) years old or under, and the minimum age for Reef Sleep is six (6) years old.

The winner and their companions must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to Australia. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the Holiday. It is the responsibility of the winner to: (i) organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for the travelling party and any other required travel documentation, (ii) ensure that the travelling party is adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs, and (iii) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the prize provider of the Holiday. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize provider of the Holiday of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

 

It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and/or their companion(s) adhere to the visa entry requirements to Australia. Particular attention should be given to https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/australia. 

 

The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. Once the Holiday is booked, any alteration and/or amendment to the booking will be at the cost of the winner. 

The prize excludes ground transport to and from the UK airport, meals, drinks and excursions (other than those specified above), attractions, treatments, car hire, travel insurance, personal expenses, visas and vaccinations and any other expenses not explicitly set out above. 

 

Upon booking their Holiday, the winner will be bound by and subject to the prize provider of the Holiday's terms and conditions, which are available at https://www.travelbag.co.uk/important-information/booking-conditions, as well as the terms and conditions of third party suppliers including hotels and activity providers.

 

In the event of unforeseen circumstances outside of prize provider of the Holiday’s control, the prize provider of the Holiday reserves the right to substitute the Holiday, or elements of the Holiday, for an alternative of equal value. If for any reason, the winner does not take an element of the Holiday when booking the Holiday or does not book and take-up the Holiday by 31 January 2026, that element and/or the Holiday will be deemed forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element and/or the Holiday.
