Morning all
Dry and bright here before more rain due tomorrow 🙄 I am off to get my nails done this morning and put the world to rights with my lovely nail lady.
I had such a terrible night again last night we had sausages for dinner and I spent the night in agony again with a bloated uncomfortable tummy and feeling sick, I was still awake at 4 this morning and then napped a bit till 5 so I am a bit washed out today, I think I must have an intolerance to pork as it’s twice it’s happened now, I ended up taking some strong painkillers just to let me get a bit of a snooze in, I will be shattered later.
This afternoon I am going to have a small skin cancer removed from my face, I actually went to the Dr about another suspicious spot on my face but that one was treated and disappeared and when they were checking it they found another one which I knew nothing about, so I shall be glad to have it removed.
DD is on a late sleep tonight so just OH and I here for dinner so he said he would treat us to a takeaway as I probably won’t feel like cooking.
I made the piccalilli yesterday but looking at it this morning it seems a bit runny so I may have to give it another simmer and see if that helps.
Camelot and Bella I hope you both feel better soon xxx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning all! The meet up went well, nice people, food was lovely, we'll meet up again but this will involve me driving up north so I may try and do a swing by of any forum people on the way
not till next year though..Sister is still very anti and dosn't believe in dna but that's up to her so I won't mention them to her again. She's great and a fantastic sister but she is very definite in her opinions and very anti people in general unless they are close family. Friend who was coming today for coffee has had to work due to sickness in her workplace so I'll take the two sewing boxes and bits to the recycle place once I've shwoered and dressed. I've run out of books to read too so I've gone back to Heidi for light relief and it's been a good forty years since I last read it..So that's my day, very uneventful. I will take some ox cheek out of the freezer though, I fancy a bit of beef stew.
Florence, you've been busy haven't you? Glad you at least had a break...Izzy, result with the 10 days off! Scarlet, have a nice time in Yorkshire Cumbria [ I am also geographically challeneged] Gers, awwww, my sister would love that, she's a real nature lover...camelot, hope you're recovering well! Bella, thanks for that, I've told my cousin and sister, they love all horse and troop related gubbins. nanny, enjoy freezer surprise! Take care all, see you at the weekend

We have DBIL , DSIL and DN arriving today for the weekend, we are meeting them at a garden centre not far from Downham as they need to come a different route to that they came last time. DN hasn't been here yet and is a slightly nervous driver.
There has been a delay with DMIL funeral but should hear something today hopefully.
Have a good day all, hugs to all who want them

Morning everyone it’s nice and bright here but we did have a light frost Gers that would have brighten my day up even more if I had seen that from my window what a lovely picture Coxy I bet you can’t wait Bella and Camelot take care of yourselves keep warm and rest get rid of all those nasty germs before Santa comes I’ve just finished a cleaning job so having a cuppa and a sit down I got my application yesterday for my pension all done another step closer . I have a couple of stocking fillers to get and a couple of cards so we are going to go to Darlington in the morning as hubby needs a new battery for his watch and he likes to go to the jeweller there where we bought it from we won’t be there long there’s nothing else I really need and once he has got his battery he will be like a child moaning on I don’t know what about but he will find something. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing9

Took the filled in form to SA - ended up being there 2 hours - sorting out stuff that had been donated. Lovely lady came along and donated 6 packs of nappies.
Today was food bank day - very busy.
Mr F took 2 bags of stuff to the charity shop this morning. He has gone out again with 2 more full bags. I can only keep so much stuff at SA - hate landfill - awful to throw good quality clothes so I send to the Hospice charity shop.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
