Unusual traffic?

Did he take these items on holiday with him?Ayr_Rage said:@J_B I get exactly the same when I go out of and return to the UK from many of my usually frequented websites.
I also have to endure Thai adverts on Facebook videos when I get home, it seems being on a Thai IP address is a bit sticky on Facebook, it takes a while to revert to UK ads.
I do not change any regional settings in programmes and apps, just let Windows 11 auto-detect time and date.0 -

My WISP is Airband who are based in Devon ... and Hereford

I also get that "unusual traffic" message. Sometimes on the laptop, sometimes on the phone. I think it is only when using Google. Nothing bad has ever happened so I now just confirm that I am not a robot and carry on.0

This is the key, in very basic terms. If an ISP starts using a particular shared address or an address from a range not known to be shared then it takes a while for this "news" to propagate.facade said:Is it because your IP address is shared with loads of other people, so there is a lot of traffic between you?I get it all the time with a VPN, as the IP address is the same for everyone using that node.An IP address lookup on that 193.222.xxx.xxx shows it is geolocated all over the place simultaneously, from Shrewsbury to Devon.
In the mean time it will seem to Cloudflare, Google and others that you are hopping around the country/world and so they present a challenge.
It's also why this appears when coming back from a distant holiday *especially if you've not set your location to update frequently.1
