Don't trade individual shares with such small amounts of money.1

Much will depend on exactly what you want to buy and how often, as well as the wrapper, but if you want to compare on cost then check out:Sharpiejas said:I want to invest £150 a month in shares or trackers, what is the best platform to use for this. Best is subjective but Trading212 and Investengine make that easy as they don't charge commissions and offer fractiomal shares and ETFs. Investengine has an automatic investment feature that works well.Sharpiejas said:I want to invest £150 a month in shares or trackers, what is the best platform to use for this. Freetrade is good for small amounts in a GIA.0

There is a good podcast called ‘making money’ S1E3 How to start inventing. It gives good, easy to understand advice. I personally use Vanguard which is a good one with reasonable fees (check all fees). Global index or maybe life strategy funds are a couple of possibilities but all depends on your risk tolerance, age etc.0

I was looking for the Platform Investment that Martin had a discussion with a tv news reporter online (can't recall the name) but they followed Martin's instructions and set up an account and it showed how well it worked. So if anyone knows how l can get the info on that £150 investment platform l would be very grateful.Thanks-1

That sounds a bit scammy (fake ML crypto 'endorsements' would typically follow that pattern), so it's probably worth using the links posted above during this thread's previous life in 2023 to find something that fits your objectives....LibraMoonBeam said:I was looking for the Platform Investment that Martin had a discussion with a tv news reporter online (can't recall the name) but they followed Martin's instructions and set up an account and it showed how well it worked. I don't think Martin would recommend any platform for investments, that's not what he does and investment advice is a regulated activity. Sounds like you've viewed a fake ad that's pretending to be him.LibraMoonBeam said:I was looking for the Platform Investment that Martin had a discussion with a tv news reporter online (can't recall the name) but they followed Martin's instructions and set up an account and it showed how well it worked. Was this on Facebook or X by any chance?
Anyway the usual questions before you look to start investing are about sorting your emergency fund and having sufficient savings, are these sorted for you?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.1 -
