Cancelled Car Insurance Problems

Hi. In 2019 my car insurance cover was cancelled by my car insurance company as I had not told them I had CCJ's in my name. At the time I actually didn't know I had these CCJ's, they were the result of a tenant renting my property. I have since managed to have these CCJ's removed as I was able to prove that I was not living at the address in question.
Anyway, the problem I have been left with is that apart from many insurance companies not willing to give me insurance cover, others are quoting far greater amounts.
I've spoken to Citizens Advice but they were not able to offer any advice.
Has anyone got any experience of this and if so, I would be grateful for any advice you can give me.
Many thanks in advance.

Go back to the original insurer that cancelled and complain and provide evidence that the CCJs were set aside so you didn't know about it, as soon as you became aware you challenged it and the court agreed it was wrong.1
