Listing on boxing day

I am looking to sell early next year, has anyone had experience listing before boxing day which resulted in a lot of interest/sale in January.
The reason I ask is that Rightmove's busiest day of the year is meant to be boxing day although I guess it's debatable whether how much of the traffic is serious buyers.

Everything will usually be shut so there's not much point. I hate seeing Christmas photos on listings, it dates things immediately, and generally makes rooms feel smaller.
I'd wait until the New Year.
It used to be seasonal with New Year and Easter being busy, but I've not noticed this was much over the last few years. Especially if the weather's awful!2024 wins: *must start comping again!*1 -
We listed a flat around 10th December 2021 (so in a much busier market) with this in mind, and being keen to get moving. We had a single viewing before Xmas and it then built up very slowly in the new year .Wouldn’t put much trust in them being serious buyers.
Did you know Xmas day is traditional one of the busiest days for sole traders filing their self assessment tax returns online because they can’t do anything else…1 -
Far better to give your listing the extra quality it needs over others' drivel than worry about the time of year. That includes finding the right agent and pricing correctly in a challenging market, due to become more so, IMO.“If you tolerate this, your children will be next.” The Manic Street Preachers0
