I won case against Excel Parking cowboys

Although I haven't posted previously, I have taken a lot of advice and info from the this site and just wanted to say thank you to everyone who contributes.

My latest win was last week in court. Cutting a long story short, the judge told the Excel Parking lawyer that this case should never have been brought to court and basically ripped the lawyer a new one.

I literally didn't have to speak or present any of my evidence from my bundle. The judge made his decision based on Excel's own evidence, which was somewhat entertaining and satisfying. He awarded me £99 for costs.

My previous case was "discontinued" so didn't make it to court so not as satisfying but was still obviously a win from my perspective.

Keep up the good work everyone and to those starting the process which can seem a little daunting, keep the faith and listen to the advice from people on here...you will win!

  • Thinking about court for Scottish Power and the ombudsman but it is very scary! Can't use a lawyer because can't claim back the fee, so how did you do it!
    Totally agree about this site,

I think you are a little confused here, the OP was taken to the SCC by a rogue parking company not the other way round.
  • Sorry @ElaniArtin, as @fisherjim says, I was taken to Small Claims Court by Excel Parking for supposedly breaching their imaginary terms and conditions. Good luck to you though.
