As soon as I get out from under my current energy company nightmare I am switching. My local borough has an alternative that interests me.
Does anyone have experience with this type of collective switching?

Occasionally these schemes used to come up with a decent price. However, they often don't beat the other deals available to everyone on the market. If you do get a quote, make sure you compare it (the actual unit prices and standing charges) with other deals you might get. Remember fixing isn't necessarily a good option as prices are still very high compared to historic norms; although future price predictions don't forecast any massive drops.1

I was previously thinking that the energy company would behave better if with the council but now I am thinking this may not be the case?

Hmmm, anyone heard of Robin Hood Energy and other hair brained schemes by councils, or even Bulb and the other countless failed energy schemes, I would personally steer clear4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex .
