Debt was passed to agency days before DRO was approved

So I had my DRO approved around 7 weeks ago (I'm now in the moratorium period). However it seems that behind the scenes just days before the DRO was approved, one of my creditors had passed a debt to a collection agency. Can someone confirm if this debt is still counted within the DRO? Or do I have to pay it?

You've nothing to worry about as this link to the government website sets out:

It's absolutely still included. Even if they sold it, rather than passing it to a collector, it's still included.
Just write your dro number and date on anything they send you, and send it back1 -
Insolvency debts are commonly sold or assigned to debt collectors, it makes no difference whatsoever to you, the debt is still the same debt regardless of ownership, and still included in your DRO, so relax, and do as fatbelly advises.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
