State pension having spent 2 years working in Ireland

With the recent news about topping up missing years in your NI record, it has made me wonder if something can be done about the 2 "missing" years I have.
I moved to Dublin in 2005, spent 2 years working there paying full taxes in Ireland, and then moved back to the UK.
Can I get those 2 years credited back in some way? How?
thanks in advance for any advice.

Before thinking about that you might be best off checking your forecast (in full, not just the headline figure) to see if there will actually be any benefit in adding those years.0

I have, I have 6 years left. It'd be nice to have 4 years left!0

Are you essentially asking if time spent working in a different tax jurisdiction can be used as credit in another?
Probably a bit more of a nuanced question than the usual ones we get on here regarding topping up, I would amend the thread title to mention that as people may be bored of coming into the usual type of thread by now lol.1 -

and you are right. I can't seem to edit my original post however. Guess I need a certain amount of posts or something like that?
I have edited the title now0 -
Which 2 years ?You should be able to pay for years 2006-07 and later at class 2 rates. If you post up the details below from your forecast someone will commentCurrent weekly £££.pp amount accrued up to April 2023
Number of pre April 2016 NI years full
Number of post April 2016 NI years full
Tax year you reach state retirement
Any COPE amount shown, in a click link in "You've been in a contracted-out pension scheme" if there is one.
Years which show not full and pricesAre you currently working ?

the NI record site says for 2006:
"You can make up the shortfallPay a voluntary contribution of £824.20 by 5 April 2025. This shortfall may increase after 5 April 2025."
The overall "statement" says:
"You have:
- 25 years of full contributions
- 21 years to contribute before 5 April 2044
- 5 years when you did not contribute enough"
No COPE amount
Pre April 16 - 17 years
post April 16 - 8 yearsI am currently working

How much is the current amount up to April 2023? On the information provided so far it seems pointless filling gaps

What is the answer to this question?

From the state pension forecast:
https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/check-your-state-pension/account"Estimate based on your National Insurance record up to 5 April 2023
£171.07 a weekForecast if you contribute another 6 years before 5 April 2044
£203.85 a week£203.85 is the most you can get"
So I need another 6 full years to get the full state pension, but it would be nice if I could qualify in 4 by using my 2 missing Ireland years.0
