I’m still confused as to why you’re using L&G as the provider when it’s likely other companies can offer you a higher annuity for life. The HL tool is notoriously bad for providing inaccurate quotes.

    Trigger pulled
£26K just gone into my Aviva pension
Apparently this will take up to 10 days to show in my online pension app.

When It clears I will start the L&G anuity rolling....

Strangely just as annuities are dropping a little, my aviva pension is going up (probable about 2% in the last 2 weeks...

    Perhaps bonds are recovering....   roflol.....hahahaha!

Er yes, bonds are recovering as inflationary expectations subside.

I really hope you have gone to an IFA for your annuity quotes as they often give better prices because they effectively rebate commission.
    I think....

I am currently waiting for my additional funds to hit my pension (apparently can take up to 10 working days)
I haven't used an IFA with such a small pension.
If I had a pension in the 100's of thousands I would have...

1 month ago Aviva offered my £5600 single flat 10 year
Currently with all the "jiggery pokery"  I have got this up to £6418 .
I doubt an IFA would do much better once their fees are taken out....

But I am still looking to improve further.....
