Afternoon all, I'm back to bringing up the rear. Thank you all for your kind words and I will try not to moan too much..... honest !
Yesterday DGS stayed for tea and then cwtched up on the sofa with me under my throw to watch the TV🤗 He wasn't bothered when he went home because he's comfortable here and knows nanny and bumpy are a bit of a soft touch ! Later I phoned Dad and had a bit of an altercation, normally I would let it go but I stood my ground. He soon wanted to end the call!
I woke up late this morning, must have needed the sleep although I'm back to tired now. We went to our local garage to organise 4 new tyres, which had to be ordered so hopefully they will be fitted on Friday. They cost an arm and a leg and it will be an expensive month with car ins and an MOT as well. We went on to a garden centre for coffee as the sun was out and spent some time looking at the view of our 3 mountains which were looking very foreboding (Sugar loaf, Blorenge and Skirrid). Thought I'd have a look around afterwards for some stocking fillers but nothing jumped out at me and I came home empty handed.
Now home and the wm is on, I need to know who keeps filling the dirty laundry basket up ! Tea will be hm pasties from the freezer and chips or wedgies.
Take care all, stay safe and dry.
nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently8
