Since I am more than happy with the way both machines are performing, I do not really feel the need!

It never actually crossed my mind to need to size my dryer according to my WM.     In the 50 years since we bought our first dryer, and now on our 4th one, it has just not been a concern.

Presumably then my dryer drum must be larger than my WM drum as the items washed fit easily in the dryer.  It certainly looks a bit larger when I am putting items into it.  WM is a Bosch, dryer is an AEG
rather than speculate why not google the model numbers and check the capacity that each manufacturer recommends?
If you know the route from A to B and are quite happy with the journey times why look at a map, just rely on your experience and common sense.
  •  When looking for a drier recently I decided to check just to make sure. There's 6 of us in the house, the washing machine and drier are on at least twice a day.

Weighed a couple of typical loads after washing, came in under the 9kg so went with a 9kg one.

Personally if I am happy with my route I don't start posting online about it and stating its an assumption and so could be wrong but ok
  • I think, when posting on here, it can be unwise  to state you are sure about anything, someone is bound to ask for proof!   Otherwise  known as "nit picking".

However, if pushed, I am happy to state that our "pretty standard" WM and dryer seem totally compatible size wise, and that the dryer is more than capable of handling a full load from the WM.

We have a 7kg washing machine and 8kg dryer. It often means once non-tumble dry items such jeans, bras and sports ware have been taken out, we get two washes to the dryer.
