DCB LEGAL PARKING EYE money claims x 2

Hi everyone,
I have come back to this thread as today I received a DCB Legal letter of claim for the above contravention. As advised by you knowledgeable lot, I ignored the letters from DCB ltd and thought it had gone away.
Clearly not. They have also sent me another one for my current car for two contraventions which occurred in 2025 . I don't know if I can dispute them as I think I genuinely forgot to pay but I given that my circumstances haven't changed as described earlier on in this thread, I may have some reasons to contest them.
As I've already explained, I am a nurse working in a hospital where staff parking is at a premium and its impossible to find a parking space. We can pay to park at a park & ride but when you have patients to see and need to be on site quickly this isn't always convenient. I also have an NHS lease car so quite often the initial PCN's are sent to the lease company who appeal it themselves stating that they aren't the driver of that vehicle. I found this out when I got a response to the SAR i sent to PE. I know I should have taken action following the info I got from the SAR but due to some horrendous family issues this fell way to the bottom of the priority list - especially as things went quiet for so long.
I have read the Newbie sticky. Can I confirm that my next course of action is to send the draft letter in section 2 of the Newbie thread? If so, what do I put as my reason for why I think they're unfair?
I have ADHD so I find reading and following instructions incredibly difficult, sorry.
Thanks in advance :)

Dont add any reasons, stick to the template LoC response only

Thank you for your response.
To clarify, is this the template I should use:
Dear Sirs,
Your ref: [insert reference number]
Proposed legal proceedings
Claimant: [insert name of parking company]
I refer to your letter of claim.
I confirm that my address for service for the time being is as follows, and any older address must be erased from your records:
[Insert correct address here]
You should revert to your client because the 'propensity to pay' score in my case is zero, so any claim is hopeless and a waste of the court fee (whether 'fronted' by your firm or not). Move on to weaker victims.
The alleged 'debt' is disputed and any court proceedings will be vigorously defended.
Yours faithfully,
In the NEWBIES thread, section 2 it says:
'If the parking firm is using Gladstones, DCLegal, BW Legal or other solicitor and you have a LBC or LoC (a letter) then search the forum for the solicitor's email and reply robustly as follows:'
Where is says 'DCLegal' is that supposed to be DCB Legal? It also says 'search the forum for the solicitor's email' but on the top of my letter from DCB Legal it has an email adress info@dcblegal.co.uk - would that one be ok to use as I havent found a solicitors email for DCB Legal when searching.
Thanks so much for your help.

Hi all,
I received this response today regarding both incidents.
I presume I just ignore and wait for the claim?
Thanks ☺️

Standard stuff. Await the court claim.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi everyone,
So the court claim forms arrived (see images) and I have submitted the AOS today for both. I am now trying to figure out what to write for each defence especially for paragraph 3. For the PC on 22/03/2022 I had parked on double yellow lines - having done a SAR (as you'll see from 2023 earlier in this thread) there are clear photos of my car parked and one of the photos shows a window PCN. However, as I have previously explained, the hospital security staff would issues these back then and they would only be a warning notice and not an official PCN. The initial PCN was sent to my lease team on 18/05/2022 which they appealed (as in stated that I was the driver) and they received confirmation that liability had been transferred on 11/06/2022. The SAR also shows that a PCN was issued to me at my address on the same day - I have no recollection of this but I guess that doesn't mean it didn't happen. It wasn't until 16/10/2023 that I believe I became aware when I got the first letter from DCBL. With regards to the actual contravention - given that it was during COVID, I genuinely can't remember if it was my husband or I driving as he would quite often give me a lift. Additionally, as a nurse doing home visits and having to come and go to car park where you can never get parked or picking up supplies/ medical equipment, there's a good chance I parked for a matter of 5 mins at the most.
With regards to the other claim form which has two contraventions on (24/01/25 & 12/03/2025) I can say fairly confidently that I don't ever recall receiving any letters from Parking Eye.

Please change your thread title to something more suitable like
DCB LEGAL PARKING EYE money claims x 2
Ensure that you have done both AOS on MCOL
Use the Chan and Akande defence template due to no actual breach pleaded
