Does the DWP write to tell you that ESA is ending at State pension age?

As the title says does the DWP write to tell you that ESA is ending at State pension age when the State pension pension has been applied for?

Don't wait for any letter.  You have to make a claim for your New State Pension - you don't receive it automatically.  You can apply up to 3 months before your retirement date online or up to 4  months by phone.  See Get your State Pension - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Do you own or rent ?.
I helped a few of my neighbours when they were approaching retirement.
Their housing authority was more than willing to get it sorted.
They helped with claiming pension, rent, council tax, pension credits, water aid etc.

Aww thanks, I have already claimed state pension and got letter, and also asked to be paid on a weekly rather than a monthly basis, same amount of money but for budgeting reasons I prefer weekly.
Its just that I am on ESA (CB)  and probably will be owed some even after state pension kicks in, but a bit curious to know if DWP writes to confirm say that ESA is ending and maybe explaining the last payment of it.

I received a letter a few months before I reached State Pension age in order to apply. I then received another letter about a month before my 66th to state ESA was stopping and the last payment date. It took ages to get my pension credit sorted after this for some reason.
