Thank you for all of help with this saga, My stern letter quoting the FOS worked! The initial offer of £3645 was increased to £4575 plus £100 for a replacement car seat. I am happy with this total as was hoping after your comments for £4700 ie a £500 drop since purchase in Sept.

Now one more piece of advice - what would your starting offer be on this, I was thinking £4k dead on????:

Well I am a regular visitor anyway and this was an issue that I knew nothing about but as usual the lovely people on here helped. I can't believe that I managed to sort out anything before MSE.....guess I relied on my dad as the "font of all knowledge" which he isn't really!!!

Final update on this one: settled as a 50/50 claim as no witness stopped to help me with a 2 year old in the middle of a busy junction:mad:

Personal injury claim settled in court on Friday 1 yr 4 months to the day for whiplash and back pain. £1350 to be paid to me after 50% deduction for 50/50 claim and payment of PPP insurance physiotherapy costs.

Thank you again to everyone on this site again for any help that you have ever given me! :T I can put in my new french doors and fix my roof now!!
