Prepaid Card for School Trip - Monzo/Revolut?

Morning folks,
My daughter is off on a school trip in December and they have suggested a prepaid card something like Monzo.
I've never had a Monzo / Revolut etc card as I personally use a Halifax Clarity for shopping abroad but any suggestions what's better for her. She is currently under 16 so not even sure she can have one in her name - if not, can I get one in my name and just let her use it?
I thought these cards were pre-paid ones but looking on the sites, are they now bank accounts?
Ideally I'd like to pre-load £150 ish that she can use electronically or withdraw € if need be.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks

Monzo is not a prepaid card. It used to be when it started, but is now a fully-fledged UK bank.Official MSE Forum Team member. Please report all problem posts to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

They aren't pre-paid cards, however, you transfer a sum from a Bank account and the user can see how much they have left to spend. They are also accepted worldwide, you get better exchange rates and you can order a physical card too.
I take both on holiday and have never had issues.
So i can see why the school is recommending a Monzo/Revolut card.0 -

Another one is from comparison site.

I used FairFX long time adn they are relatively good in the past. But not anymore as there are now reasonable number of Debit/credit card with zero fee for trasaction in foreign currency.0 -
Is there any reason you want a pre paid card rather than her having a current account and taking the debt card for that? (Assuming she is over 10)0
