Best Home Emergency and Legal Cover

I am currently with Policy Expert and have their Add-on Home emergency and Legal Cover. I have very bad experience with both covers from them as the policies are worded in the way to ensure the majority of claims are declined. Can anyone recommend either a Home insurance that comes with these add-ons that would provide a decent cover or standalone policies?

Aviva/Quotemehappy I would personally recommend as they use homeserve for home emergency cover. Always had good service with them but ive never made an insurance claim just a home emergency claim

I would recommend self-insuring for your home emergency cover. Just pay the premium you would be pay into a savings account. After just three months you will have most of the money you need to deal with smaller emergencies, and you can continue to save for large eventualities such as needing a new boiler or a new roof. 

Legal Expenses Cover is cheap and common with most home insurance polices (buildings and contents insurance).

The amounts of money I was able to save over the years by being able to claim on home emergency as opposed to using my own money are running in to four figures so No thanks.
