ASDA are doing sage, onion and cranberry bread at the mo. It tastes as strange as it sounds & as far as I'm concerned it's a good lesson to maintain traditional boundaries between savoury & sweet!
Ooo I need to look out for this. I love pork, sage & onion stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwiches ❤️

I did share this last time round but some pubs near me are doing a Christmas pudding burger again this year. Quite tempted to sample it.

Not sure about the combination of cheese, burger and christmas pudding though

Isn't it styled to look like a Christmas pud rather than an attempt to replicate the flavour?
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.

This caught my eye earlier. It feels like a brick, and costs £2.50.

Cheese and Christmas pudding should work... half the family won't eat Christmas cake without a chunk of cheddar to go with it and the best mince pies ever had were made by a neighbour who adds cream cheese to the mincemeat

I'm less sure on the meat with so much sweet but it may somewhat disappear in the background... mincemeat for mince pies still traditionally has beef suet in it even if we've dropped adding meat itself.

Sainsbury's are doing the same in the fresh/refreshed breads section.
    It's really really good.
However is £2.20 (or thereabouts) for a 400g loaf.
