DIY will

Hi,
I am in the process of putting together a DIY Will. My wishes are straight forward, everything left to my 2 children in equal share absolutely.
I am using a previous will as a template, and wondering if the below is still relevant, or has been superseded?
Standard Provisions
The Standard Provisions of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (1st Edition) shall apply with the deletion of paragraph 5. Section 11 Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (consultation with Beneficiaries) shall not apply
