Radiator Replacement

I want to change the existing radiator (type 11) in my dining room for a type 21 of the same physical size (600 x 1200). The obvious issue is the valve centres are going to be different and I have a floating wooden floor down so this can't be lifted to adjust the existing pipework.
What's the best way to adjust the pipework above the floor to get it to fit, would it be better getting a slightly smaller width (1100mm) and then putting in a section of pipe in an S bend so that it meets the valve centres?

I use a pair of 45° bends soldered to short stubs to kick the pipe(s) out - You only need ~30mm offset.I'll add some photos later if you need a visual representation. Her courage will change the world.

Depending on the way the radiator brackets are fitted you can often move the radiator closer to the wall and get away without moving pipework.Living the dream in the Austrian Alps.1

Options would appear to be a couple of end-feed (for neatness) elbows as FreeBear says. to make a dog-leg, or to gently bend the pipes as I suggested to a friend some time ago - his son was there and in a dilemma with this exact same situation. We decided to gently pull on the pipes and bend them just a few degrees outwards, and the rad valves then sat at a slight angle to suit, but it worked. 'Phews' all around.
