  • Just got in from Morrisons. We are having sister and nephews over tonight and doing a buffet. we got two Ham and pineapple pizzas (59p each down from £2.19) 4 loaves of hovis white bread at 35p a loaf (making a bread pudding) enough mince for three months (apparantly les sthen half price) . We also got some xmas quality street boxes and some bits and pieces that we couldnt afford at full price but had budgetted for this year.

The freezer is full of mince for three months all divided into portions , we have all our pressies bough , have bought 4 birthday pressies and are £31 under budget.
  • My ma just got back from Sainsburys and got a few of the HUGE fresh turkeys that are over £30 usually for £7 each  . I don't really care as am vegan but she'll be feeding her and my dad for cheap for a while. I can see alot of turkey sadwiches and stuff for them after christmas lol. She got alot of other stuff half price by the look of it to lol. My parents will be eating good for a while (well the do usuallly eat well but now it's for cheap :rotfl: ).

I went to my local Sainsburys this afternoon and there was very little food reduced. I got a dressed crab for 1/2 price. I got 1/2 price 3 for 2 gifts for future birthday presents. They had all Christmas flowers for 1/2 price but I still couldn't justify paying £5.00 for some.

    Happy Christmas
