Help with credit check

I am trying to move my phone contract and I keep "failing" the credit check because my address is apparently not linked to the address I'm providing. I have contacted my bank, Experian and ClearScore who have all confirmed that the address linked to my credit rating is the one I am providing. I am at my wits end with this and am not sure what else to do. Can anyone offer any advice?

First off, check all 3 of your credit reports to see what address they hold for you.  This article shows you how to check all 3 for free: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/check-free-credit-report/

It's important to check all 3, since you won't know which one the phone company is looking at - but they should all hold the same data.

If they all show the correct address, next step is to check what address you're providing to the phone provider - is the spelling correct, does it match what's on your CRA records?  One thing to watch for in particular is if you live in a flat - this can sometimes confuse the automated systems they use.  For example, one system may record it as "Flat 2, number 12, High Street", another may just have "Number 12, High Street", another may just have "Flat 2, High Street".

If everything tallies up, see if you can speak to someone at the phone company to ask them to check what address they're actually trying to match you against - there's an outside chance it may actually be slightly different to what you put on the application form, depending on how their system interprets different address formats.
