iPod repair business

I could do with my iPod (Classic 7th gen) being repaired. I suspect it'll be way too old now for Apple to bother touching.

Has anyone reading this sent their iPod off anywhere & can recommend a company or not really?

I have a dead pixel or two which I'm not really that bothered about to be honest but would probably see about getting sorted, price depending, while it's in.

What's really bothering me is I think the headphone jack is knackered. At first I thought it was my earphones, despite them being fairly new still (this year). It was only when I tried these earphones in my old iPod Nano and different headphones in this iPod classic did I come to the conclusion that something is duff with the port itself.

I've tried isopropyl alcohol and a cotton bud and while the bud did come out black-ish, it didn't actually resolve anything so  I'm hazarding a guess at a new port needed.
