Hi I completed the on line get my state pension form when I got invitation from govt back in June
They sent email back saying received it which I have kept
My problem is I didn't get my pension on Oct 3rd when it was due , nor have I got any to date!
I phoned them over a week a go and still not heard anything .I Will ring them tomorrow but any advice how I could resolve this quickly would really be appreciated as I need the money!!?
It's impossible to email them and takes hours on the phone and they won't tell you anything
   Thanks

Was 3rd October "when it was due" your birthday? In which case, the SP is not paid on your birthday but some time (up to 6 weeks later) depending on your NI number. You should have had a statement saying when the first payment would be paid and how much it would be. Unless the site you went to wasn't genuine?

Thanks  but had no letter or further correspondence from them at all.
When I rang about 10 days ago they said couldn't find my on line form despite the fact they had sent an acknowledgement same day which also said don't reply if we need any further info we will contact you.

seems odd - OH got a letter probably within 1-2 weeks of applying and it contained all the details re dates and amounts. I would phone again as sounds like nothing has happened, they may have received the application but doesn't sound like it has been acted on

PS just seen the comment about  being sure it was a legit site. Did you have a letter from them telling you that you could now apply and giving codes etc to access the site?

See page 9  and 10 of the above.

Did you receive a letter from DWP concerning your first and subsequent payments?
  • No nothing... when I looked on line it seems other people's  on line forms didn't get actioned either

Not always, my wife got her first payment (1 days worth) on her 66th birthday. Followed by a full payment 28 days later.
