HOW to get out of a months notice to resign + other problems
It's no use complaining on here about whether your employer could or should employ agency staff when someone is off sick, that's all irrelevant to you applying for a new job.
The overwhelming majority of people will have to work a month's notice. It's expected.
Just apply for the jobs and tell them, as anyone else will have to, that you need to work a month's notice. Not many employers are going to be interested in someone who breaks employment contracts.
yes.its just my current job is the first job in over 29 years of working is one that has a month's notice .all my others have been a week.i admit looking at low skilled agency temp jobs .but they are immediate start.
