A friend has posted this on facebook and it seems to be saying that we should all post similar.
I'm not in the habit of copy and pasting things that others post (all those "my real friends will put this on their timeline and I'll know they love me" things). But this implied data protection issues. So I thought I'd pop it here for an opinion or two. And can someone tell me what it means when he says his has turned blue? (frankly sounds unhealthy.....) And extra points if you can make sense of the last 2 lines.....

Hello
It's official. Signed at 10:33 am m. It was even on tv

Mine has really turned blue. Remember that tomorrow starts the new Facebook rule (aka...) new name META) where they can use your photos. Dont forget the deadline is today!! I do not give Facebook or any entities associated with Facebook permission to use my photos, information, messages or publications, past and future.
With this statement, I notify Facebook it is strictly forbidden to disclose, copy, distribute or take any other action against me based on this profile and/or its contents. The violation of privacy can be punished by law
NOTICE: Facebook is now a public entity All members must post a note like this.
You can copy and paste this version if you prefer. Failure to publish a statement at least once will be tacitly allowing the use of your photos, as well as the information contained in your profile and status updates.
DO NOT SHARE. Copy and paste.
Here's how to proceed:
Place your finger anywhere in this message and a "copy" will pop up. Click on " Copy ". Then go to your page, create a new post and put your finger anywhere in the blank field. 'Paste' will appear and press Paste.
This will bypass the system....

Its spam and not true lots of it on Facebook5

What a load of rubbish, using their platform means you have signed up and agreed to their rules. You can't just post up that you want to abstain from some of those rules.
You either agree and the rules apply or you don't use it.4 -
Is this still doing the rounds!
It's a load of rubbish. Just ignore it.3 -
I'm disappointed now. I was wondering what 'of his' had turned blue.

If you tell me:
a) your mothers maiden name
b) the name of the street you grew up on
c) your first pets name
then I will give you instructions on how to make yours go blue as well
