Best humidifier for drying clothes in a large room

Hi folks, we've decided to invest in a dehumidifier to help dry clothes but I don't know what I should be looking for. The only space we can hang clothes is in our large kitchen/diner so does that mean I need a bigger unit? Ideally it wouldn't be too hefty as we're hoping to move it around the home a bit to tackle damp in the front bedrooms.
Do I need to spend loads of money? I'm lost and would be grateful for any advice.

You need a dehumidifier, not a humidifier (as in your title).
I run four on timeswitches. They are all the sort you can buy new for around £150, though I bought them secondhand.
This is a typical one, from Currys

You need one that claims 10l/day ( you won't get anywhere near that) and as large a bucket as possible unless you can drain it from a hose.

If your kitchen/diner has a extractor fan leave that running while drying laundry till you get de-humidifier.
I also think it is better to have a resonable size placed in central position of property and leave doors open for de-humidifier to work, especially if you opt for a compressor type model.0 -
We also have the Meaco 20l. You can generally get away with just leaving it in the room with the highest humidity, which for us is the kitchen.0

I have two one upstairs and one downstairs. All are on wheelsZ I would personally not recommend moving one “around the house” as in upstairs and downstairs to avoid tripping, but if you are in a bungalow then that’s fine. At least 12 litres for each should be okay I should expect.Initial mortgage bal £487.5k, current £258k, target £243,750(halfway!)

Because these use the same technology as a fridge I believe the guidance is that you should allow it to settle after moving it before switching it on. I have seen various times suggested - from 2 to 24 hours
I rarely move mine, and when i do i try to just shuffle them upright0
