Kitchen Mixer Tap Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a reliable make of kitchen mixer tap? Our current one is a Wickes own brand (which I believe is just a rebranded Bristain anyway) and disappointedly has started to leak after less than two years. We live in a very hard water area which I guess doesn't help matters.

I have a Bristan and have had to replace the cartridge for the cold twice within 6 years. The cartridges weren’t expensive (£10 IIRC) and came in a pack of two (maybe not a coincidence…). Apart from that the tap has been fine and didn’t cost too much (£60ish). More expensive may last longer; I guess it's how you value the time and inconvenience of servicing.0

Frankly I would just buy a supply of the cartridges at the same time as the tap. If not available then walk away as they won’t become available later….0

Where does it leak from? Could be new cartridges or just new O-rings.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
