Sky Q box 1 Tb - buying own 2Tb Sky Q box

Hi.I've gone for Sky Q recently, It's the !Tb box. We record a lot of shows/files etc almost always in HD and want to buy an auctio site a 2Tb box.
Will my Sky Q card work on the 2Tb box or do I need to do some type of pairing etc first?

You don't own the Sky Q equipment and AFAIK you can't buy it yourself.Contact Sky and ask for the upgrade.2

They are effectively stolen goods and Sky will attempt to take the listings down. It's possible they can remotely block the box.Here's an article on it (I know it's the Sun but it's still relevant!):
